About the Author
Physiotherapist
Michelle graduated as a Physiotherapist in 2017 and immediately started working with children with developmental delays and disabilities. Through her work she met many families who were searching for more inclusive books featuring their children's disabilities.
Author
Michelle started to write down ideas and with the support of her wonderful husband and family, she completed her first manuscript in August 2023. After professional editing and illustrations, her first children's picture book 'Maisy and Daisy Move House' was released in April 2024.
Mother
Michelle is the mother of one cute and very energetic little boy. Michelle wants him to grow up in a world where he is kind to others and inclusive of their needs. Having friends with all abilities starts with knowledge and understanding. Michelle wants her books to influence the next generation by promoting raising inclusive children and increasing accessibility in the community.
